WhatsApp Trivia: How to Send WhatsApp Messages to Unsaved Numbers?

1. Open your favorite browser on your phone or tablet.

You can use any popular browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari or IE.

2. Go to https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=XXXXXXXXXXX. Instead of X, enter the phone number you want to be contacted. [1]

For example, the phone number you want to contact is US number (prefix 1) 555-1234, then you can enter "https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=15551234".

Make sure to press "Enter" or "Go" on your keyboard and the WhatsApp window will pop up.

3. Click Messages.

You will confirm that you want to send a message to that number, and the WhatsApp application will open in a chat with that number.

4. Enter your information. You will see a text field where you can enter your message.

Tap the text field to open the text box and the keyboard will slide up from the bottom.

If you don't tap the text box, you can choose to tap the microphone icon and record the message instead of composing it. However, once you click into the text box and enter text, the microphone icon disappears.

You can also attach files, take a photo or video with the camera, or add emoji using the icons in the text field.

5. Click the paper airplane icon.

You'll see this paper airplane icon to the right of the text field.
